Sparkle turns math into a magical adventure inside your child's favorite character's world, with playful lessons, fun quizzes, exciting rewards, and friends to share it all with. That's Sparkle: learn like you play ✨
Choose your companion
Before your child answers a single math question, they choose a companion who shares their world and speaks their language.
Buddy turns math into park adventures, Luna into cozy backyard stories, Splash into coral reef quests. The math stays aligned with Florida BEST Standards. The story is entirely theirs.
Splash and Emma team up! Calculate: 1 + 25?
I'm Splash! I already had 4 glow-pearls, but then I found some more. Now I have 14. How many more did I find?
I had 12 shiny pearls and found more, bringing my total to 24. How many pearls did I find after the first 12?
I had 49 scrolls. A current brought 4 more, then another 4 drifted in. How many scrolls do I have to dive into now?
Sparkle watches how your child answers and adjusts in real time. Easier problems build momentum; harder ones appear exactly when they're ready.
The difficulty grows within each topic, so your child keeps moving forward without frustration or boredom.
Day streak
Streaks reward consistency. Badges mark what they've earned. Every quiz moves them forward in ways they can feel. Kids don't need to be told to care about it. They just do.
Extend a streak and there's real pride, day after day. It's the same small thrill that keeps any of us coming back to something we're good at. Except here, what your child is building is real math confidence that lasts.
Your class this week
Math feels better with company. Kids can invite friends to Sparkle, see each other's streaks and badges, and cheer each other on with friendly weekend challenges.
There's no chat and no strangers, just a name tag you already know and a shared streak to keep each other going. For parents, that means the social side of learning stays exactly as safe as it is fun.
Get ahead of the game this back-to-school season with Sparkle, where engaging learning experiences help children strengthen their skills, build confidence, and start the new school year one step ahead.

Sparkle is a free math practice app for kids in grades K–8. Each child picks a companion character, and the lessons happen inside that character's world. The math follows Florida B.E.S.T. Standards and adjusts to your child's level as they answer.
Sparkle watches how your child answers and adjusts in real time. Easier problems build momentum, and harder ones show up once your child is ready. The companion sets the scene, so a problem about Buddy happens in the park and one about Splash happens on a coral reef.
Yes. Sparkle is free for families and has no ads. It runs in the browser, so your child can start on the same day you create the parent account.
Yes. Sparkle is COPPA compliant and has no open chat. Kids only connect with friends they already know, through name tags and shared streaks, so parents always know who their child is playing with.
B.E.S.T. (Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking) are Florida's state standards for math. Sparkle follows them grade by grade, from kindergarten to 8th grade, and each lesson maps to a B.E.S.T. strand. The names below are the ones your child sees in the app.
| Grade | What your child practices |
|---|---|
| K | Counting and Numbers, Addition and Subtraction, Measurement, Shapes, Sorting |
| 1st | Numbers and Place Value, Parts of a Whole, Addition and Subtraction, Measurement, Shapes, Graphs and Data |
| 2nd | Numbers and Place Value, Parts of a Whole, Addition and Subtraction, Measurement, Shapes and Geometry, Graphs and Data |
| 3rd | Numbers and Place Value, Fractions, Multiplication and Division, Measurement, Shapes and Geometry, Graphs and Data |
| 4th and 5th | Whole Numbers and Decimals, Fractions, Problem Solving and Patterns, Measurement, Shapes and Geometry, Graphs and Data |
| 6th and 7th | Number Sense and Operations, Algebraic Reasoning, Geometric Reasoning, Data Analysis and Probability |
| 8th | Number Sense and Operations, Algebraic Reasoning, Functions, Geometric Reasoning, Data Analysis and Probability |
